Karisma Kapur is nervous. After a seven-year sabbatical, shewill be seen in Vikram Bhatt’s 3Dmovie, ” Dangerous Ishq”.But it is her decision to gothrough past-life regression in thenext few days, on camera, that’smaking her tense.
The film showsher character trying to find outwho has kidnapped her fiance, and the answer to it lies in herpast lives.”I am nervous, but I’m curiousabout my past life.
Thethought that we are surroundedby our friends as well as our enemiesintrigues me. Vikram hasdone past-life regression a fewtimes. My co-star Divya Duttaand some of my friends have alsodone it,” says Karisma.
Vikramwrote the script based on hisexperiences during past-liferegression, and tried to persuadeher for about three years to dothe film.”Finally, I heard the scriptlast year and was bowled over. The audience will see me in differentavatars because during theprocess of going back into pastlives, I’ve spoken five languages -Marwari, Urdu, Punjabi, Hindiand English.
In my modern avatar, I play asupermodel,” says Lolo.Vikram says, “When Iregressed, I saw that I’d died in anearthquake. I was buried underrubble. Strange but true, I sufferfrom asthma. It’s supposed to bea genetic disorder, but no one inmy family has it.When I see dust, I feel asthmatic.”
Vikram is confident aboutthe entertainment value of thefilm.”If the audience made myhorror films hits, even as manydon’t believe in ghosts, theymight like this fantasy-driventheme too.”
“Through regression(to be done with Dr Shirley Bose, regression, astrologer and Tarotcard reader) I want to know whatis in store for me,” says Lolo.Reliance Entertainment,DAR Motion Pictures and BVGEntertainment’s “DangerousIshq” releases on May 11.
