Footwear maker RelaxoFootwear today said it has ropedin Bollywood actor Katrina Kaifas brand ambassador for its Flitebrand.As part of a two year contract,Kaif will endorse the Flitebrand that is mainly targettingyoung consumers. RelaxoFootwear Executive DirectorGaurav Dua said the Flite isbeing positioned as a brand symbolicto youth, comfort and elegance.“And to carry this brandpersona a step ahead, we couldthink of no one better thanKatrina Kaif,” he said in a statement.Katrina will feature in TVcommercial endorsing the Flitefootwear which would be airedsoon, the company added.As per the company’s website,the company manufacturesover three lakh pairs offootwear per day at the ninemanufacturing units in NorthIndia.In 2011-12, its annualturnover stood at Rs. 870 crore.its other brands include Sparx,Schoolmate, Elena, Casualz,Mary Jane and Boston.
