Manjot Sandhu has won the title of Canadian senior national freestyle champion at the 2013 Mens junior and senior Canadian national freestyle wrestling championships held in Fredricton New Brunswick on March 22-24. Sandhu, who hails from Khalsa Wrestling Club in Surrey BC, wrestles in the 96kg category and won 1st place gold medal at the event. Others joining Sanduu at the winners’ podium included 84kg- 1st place gold medalist Jasmit Phulka, 96kg- 1st place gold medalist Parm Dhesi and 120kg- 1st place gold medalist Sunny Dhinsa.
