VANCOUVER – Mission Hill Family Estate has announced a star-studded line-up of musical artist that will headline this summer at the winery’s annual summer concert series, which begins July 12.
The live musical performances include Chris Botti on Friday July 12th, Gipsy Kings on Saturday July 27th, LeAnn Rimes on Sunday, July 28th and Pink Martini on Friday August 9th.
Mission Hill Family Estate is located in the heart of British Columbia’s pristinely beautiful Okanagan Valley. The concerts will take place at the winery’s spectacular outdoor amphitheatre with majestic mountains, scenic lake and estate vineyards creating the perfect backdrop for guest to enjoy a summer evening of music, wine and cuisine at one of Canada’s premiere outdoor concert venues.
The Amphitheatre at Mission Hill is an intimate venue with seating for 1,000 people. Each year the winery attracts artists from around the world who are searching to engage with their fans on a more intimate level. Artists that have graced the stage at Mission Hill in the past include Chris Isaak, Lyle Lovett, The Canadian Tenors and Wil Campa, among others. For artists normally reserved for much larger venues the small capacity Amphitheatre provides a rare treat for those in attendance.
This setting is also special for the performers themselves. In preparing for Chris Botti’s upcoming performance at the winery he recently stated: “I am very excited to be returning to Mission Hill Family Estate for the concert series this summer.
