Paranoia Should Have Never Been Made As There Is Not A Thrilling Thing About This Corporate Espionage Thriller

By ALAN SAMUEL

Industrial espionage can be a vexing affair. Two power mad adversaries wreck havoc on a young man’s life in Paranoia.  In a perfectly named film this EOne Release is now seeking converts at the Empire Studio 12, Colossus and Cineplex Odeon Sites around B.C.

Young people know the value of getting and retaining a job.  Perhaps this lesson is lost on Adam Cassidy. Bright and spry handsome Liam Hemsworth stars as the up and coming Adam.  Born to program this lad is a master of high tech innovation.  Under the watchful eye of business owner Nicolas Wyatt a devilish scheme is hatched to further enrich his empire.   Always reliable Gary Oldman (The Dark Knight) convincingly plays the corporate dynamo.

Scared of what he winds up involved with director Robert Luketic does a good job showing the fear Cassidy suffers as he gets manipulated in a deadly game of corporate espionage.  Also on hand in this boardroom showroom is Harrison Ford as a rival high tech pioneer.  So the fix is in and we’re taken on an eventful though somewhat predictable entry into a game of one upmanship.
