Sukhwinder Singh Dhillon ofHamilton city in the Canadianprovince of Ontario, who wasserving an indeterminate sentencefor first-degree murder atWarkworth Institute in Toronto,died at a hospital in Kingstonin Ontario Monday, the SunNews reported. The cause ofDhillon’s death is not knownyet.

TORONTO – An Indian-originman, who was serving time injail for killing his wife and businesspartner for insuranceclaims in Canada, has died at ahospital.Sukhwinder Singh Dhillon ofHamilton city in the Canadianprovince of Ontario, who wasserving an indeterminate sentencefor first-degree murder atWarkworth Institute in Toronto,died at a hospital in Kingston inOntario Monday, the Sun Newsreported. He was in jail since2001 after he was found guiltyof murdering his wife, ParveshKaur Dhillon, February 3, 1995,and business associate, RanjitSingh Khela June 23, 1996.After toxicology tests, poisonwas found in the victims’ bodies.Dhillon collected C$300,000in an insurance claim after hiswife died.He was arrested afterhe made claim for $200,000from Khela’s life insurance policy.Police also suspectedDhillon may have been involvedin three other poisoning deathsin India.His third wife and twin infantsborn to his second wife allallegedly died of poisoning. Thecause of Dhillon’s death is notknown yet.
