BRAMPTON – An Indo-Canadian mansuspected in the murder of his estrangedwife, who was killed in a double stabbingin Brampton, has turned himself in topolice.Iqbal Singh, 46, was being sought on aCanada-wide warrant on charges of murderand attempted murder, reportedCitytv News.Around 10 p.m. Tuesday, emergency officialswere called to a home on KingknollDrive, near Mavis Road and SteelesAvenue West, where they found the twovictims.Singh’s estranged wife Anita Summan,51, was taken to hospital and died.Another man, 46-year-old GurkharanDoal, was also stabbed and is in criticalcondition.Singh surrendered on Wednesday morning.Peel police have charged him withsecond-degree murder and attemptedmurder.He appeared in court for a bail hearingon Thursday.
