The opening reception for the Indian Summer festival was a grand affair with the perfect garden setting Thursday night! The Sun Yat Sun Chinese Gardens was packed with lovers of everything Indian! The bar service could have used more help but a great way to kick off a festival devoted to India! The opening party featured a culinary tour of South Asia curated by chef Vikram Vij. There was a heady mix of people, as diverse as Vancouver itself. The festival runs till July 12 and will feature a smorgasbord of events in and around Vancouver.
