Neha Dhupia filled in for Bipasha Basu for a dance performance at a show that was recently held in Sri Lanka. Turns out, Bipasha suffered a leg injury and had no option but to bow out of the performance at the last minute. The organisers immediately contacted Neha, who agreed to replace her.
The actress flew to Colombo the same day, rehearsed in the afternoon and performed on Bipasha’s songs in the evening. About Neha being the second option, a close friend of the actress revealed, “It’s an obvious assumption that egos are hurt when such things happen, but in this case, Bipasha’s was a genuine reason. The two even spoke about it backstage.”
