To celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Canadian Flag, the Prime Minister’s Office commissioned 50 Canadian Flags to be awarded to individuals across Canada who best embody Canadian values. Lisa Raitt, MP for Halton, nominated world famous wrestler and entertainerTiger Jeet Singh to receive one of these flags. Seen here is Riatt, accompanied by Halton Mayor Gord Krantz, presenting the commemorative flag to Tiger Jeet Singh along with his son Tiger Jr. on behalf of Prime Minister Stephen Harper at Tiger Jeet Singh Public School on Sunday February 15th.
