The Chinese-Canadian community celebrated their annual New Year with the traditional Chinese parade through the historic Chinatown in Vancouver on Sunday, which attracted nearly 100,000 people in a sea of colour and pageantry. This year marks the Year of the Goat-Sheep which is associated with gentleness and caring. Among the participants included a sea of politicians of all stripes as well as members of the Indo-Canadian community including for the first time the Sikh Motorcycle Club members taking part.
