Yes, the fix is in. Shady goings on may boost the take in Focus. Catch the hi jinks in this high flying tale of fun  and larceny from Warner a Brothers now hoping  to rule the day at scores of Cineplex Odeon cinemas across B.C.

Elegance and skill make up part of the rules that dapper Nicky Spurgeon lives by. Slick and determined is Will Smith (Men in Black) who smokes fire as the ultimate player who gets his kicks by robbing the unsuspected. To achieve stellar status in the con game Nicky has a team if accomplices who have made an art out of taking things from marks. Dupes come in all shapes and sizes but this seasoned thief may have met his match when an equally determined player enters his life.

Young and naive Jess wants to get in on the action and our bachelor boy just can’t resist this rookie’s natural charms.  Bound to make an impression on all who come her way is Australian born Margo Robbie who first made waves in The Wolf Of Wall Street.  Together these two embark on a series of heists that take them to international hot spots where making money is the name of the game.

Catchy and slick  Focus has some hidden surprises. Scenes set at haunts of the rich and famous are fun to watch and have an undeniable allure to them. Heat comes off the dalliances involving Smith and Robbie that even a blind man couldn’t deny.  Things however go a bit off track when the players venture overseas. Still as a confidence game motivational builder Focus hits the mark, solidified with a sultry soundtrack and an overall cheeky appeal.
