Miss World Contestant

Former Delhite Shruti Kapoor is a Miss World Canada Delegate. A Computer Engineering graduate from UBC, she said wants to inspire young women to believe that no dream is too big and that is why she is entered the pageant. Shruti moved to Canada along with her family in 2009 with high ambitions and dreams of making something of herself. In the short amount of time she has spent in Canada, she managed to gain a degree in Computer Engineering from the prestigious University of British Columbia. Shruti discovered her natural leadership skills during her time in university and established her own Web Development start-up company that provides services for educational institutions, fashion businesses, engineering manufacturers, entrepreneurs, business magazines and entertainment facilities. With her vast software development background and her various professional work experiences, Shruti took initiative to share her knowledge by authoring a book by Pearson Education titled “Sams Teach Yourself WordPress Themes in 24 hours” which will be published in late 2015.
