NEW DELHI – He is one of those Punjabi singers who you can recognise from light years away! Why? Due of the simple rule of physics— light travels faster than sound. And with a smile that has two gold-pleated teeth; add to it the diamond rings, gold chains and solitaire ear-studs, there is enough room for light to travel through.
Surrey-based international Bhangra star Jazzy B launched his clothing line called B Jazzy.
While we give full marks to the name of the brand and its association with the singer, Jazzy B fills us with more details about the brand, which, he says, is primarily for those who follow him and want to be like him.
“I have been a trendsetter in the Punjabi music industry and for me fashion is something that makes heads turn, for good or bad — that’s the second on my concern list,” he says.
For the clothing line, Jazzy B associated with designer Shantanu, who is also the director of the brand. However, when it comes to defining his brand, Jazzy B shares that it features exclusive designs and has limited edition.
“The clothing line is made in India, which is the most important thing to me. Also, it has my style and blingy stuff that will definitely appeal to the masses,” says Jazzy B.
The collection is available online and Jazzy B hopes to launch a store too, but when he does so, he wants to launch one in Jalandhar first.
“Well, the idea is to do an online thing first. The collection features not only clothes and accessories, but also jackets. We have first made clothes for men and later will be coming up with designs for women and children too.”
The event was attended by popular Punjabi singers, including Gurdas Maan, Jasbir Jassi and Alfaaz.
