Are you a newcomer to Canada who needs help adjusting to your new life? Free and confidential services are offered to help newcomers – with all their needs – during the process of settling into their new community. Settlement and Integration Services are free for immigrants, refugees and their families in BC (valid permanent resident cards should be presented at the time of service). Canadian Citizens and Temporary Foreign Workers will be referred to options Settlement Service Office. Offered in partnership with PICS.

Poetry Night in Punjabi

George Mackie Library, in collaboration with Kendri Punjabi Lekhak Sabha, Uttari Amrika and Punjabi Lekhak Manch – Vancouver, offers poetry night in Punjabi and Hindi. Come here two published poets/authors read and discuss their work and answer questions from the audience.

South Asian Seniors – Bingo On The House

Vedic Seniors Parivar Centre of Vedic Hindu Cultural Society Surrey invites South Asian Adults/ Senior members and non members to come and play Bingo for the sake of fun and make some new friends, on May 17th 2015 from 2.00 pm to 3.30 pm at Shanti Niketan hall 8321 – 140th street Surrey B.C. Please bring only two dollars with you to play 2 games, do not worry if you do not know how to play, members will explain you the game just for the sake of fun.
