VANCOUVER – The 2015 City of Bhangra Festival kicks-off next Thursday, May 28, in the heart of Vancouver’s entertainment district at LED Bar located on 967 Granville Street.
The annual City of Bhangra unites local and international artists with audiences of all ages for an all-out ten-day dance and music fest.
The Festival Kickoff presented by Denny’s Restaurant is taking it old school with Taza Beats: Throwback Edition. Celebrating their 11th year with VIBC, Vancouver’s own esteemed DJ duo DJ Lajit and DJ Reminisce will be spinning 90’s beats from that golden era all night from 9:00 PM onwards.
The Festival will be hosting events in both Surrey and Vancouver from May 28 to June 6. On indoor and outdoor stages, in parks and clubs, City of Bhangra offers something for everyone.
