The Fijian Prime Minister is making his first trip to British Columbia by being the Special Guest of the Fiji festival. There will be a red carpet gala for prime minister of Fiji Frank Bainimarama and the First Lady who will crown the winner. This is the first time the prime minister of Fiji will be coming to Canada. Tickets are $50, children ages 7 to 15 are $25, all the proceeds will go to the orphanage in Fiji. For tickets and more info please give me al at 778-918-1496.

Movies Under The Stars!

Put down those phones and tablets, turn off those TVs, and bring the family to Holland Park in Surrey every Saturday in August! The Downtown Surrey Business Improvement Association is proud to announce that Movies Under the Stars is growing this year thanks to generous support from Prospera Credit Union. The 11th Annual Movies Under the Stars will be marked by the addition of a fifth movie night! There’s a fun-filled, family-friendly movie line-up planned this summer. Wreck-It Ralph starts off the summer movie series at Holland Park on Saturday, August 1, followed by Home on August 8, How to Train Your Dragon 2 on August 15, Cinderella on August 22 and Big Hero 6 wraps up the summer on August 29.
