Meet Anita Ram Sharma, the Founder of South Asian Millionaires Club (SAMC) and a renowned matchmaker in the South Asian Community in the lower Mainland, who has created many successful matches during her four years of being in the business of bringing soul-mates together creating happiness and love in the lives of men and women.
“Sure some marriages are made in heaven but others happen because of people like me,” says Sharma, who started her business in 2011 and is a third generation matchmaker.
So far, she has successfully matched over a hundred clients while working largely within the Indo-Canadian-South Asian community. She says that even though her job is very hard because of the clients’ expectations, she still loves going to work every day and takes everything that comes her way as a challenge well accepted.

“Marriage requires a lot of commitment and trust which doesn’t happen overnight,” Sharma says. “I have learned and taught myself to ‘Love myself and Respect myself’, in turn I teach others to ‘Love themselves– Respect themselves’ then this will lead the individual to ‘Love others and respect others’. These words are the cornerstone of a great relationship between a husband and a wife and in turn a great marriage,” Sharma says.
For Sharma, talking from experience, it all comes down to this: “If you can be friends first – you will be great lovers and if you are great lovers then it will be a great relationship.
