The Stephen Harper Conservatives are starting to come back up in the polls (a poll released this week had Harper close to a majority) and it’s probably thanks to the Liberals and NDP taking more shots at each other than the main target. While I don’t believe the polls as they have been way off lately in a number of elections but they do tell a story of where the country’s mood is. Both the NDP and the Liberals think it’s a three-way race and they only need to be the party with the most seats to form a minority government so they have gone off their game which was to target Harper and they did a good job of it in the initial weeks of the campaign to much success. But both the NDP and Liberals foolishly think that they are actually competing with each other along with the Conservatives and so have stepped up attacks against each other and cancelling out their own momentum. They fail to realize that they have a long way to go if they are thinking of defeating Harper and this back-biting against each other is only going to help Harper win, may be even a majority. NDP and Liberals must realize that their support is so fractured that they could end up cancelling each other out. If they don’t to get back to their original game, It’s going to be GAME OVER!
