4 Booked For ‘Buying’ Bihar Girl

ABOHAR – Four persons have been booked for “purchasing” a girl from Bihar. The victim was reportedly rescued from a house in Panjpeer Colony here. The complaint has been registered at the city police station under Section 370 and 344 of the IPC.

Gayatri of Bakahtyar village in Madhopur segment of Bihar reportedly stated that her father had deserted her due to poverty and her cousin Rekha had offered her shelter.

Dayal Singh, his wife Anju and son Ramesh of Panjpeer Colony allegedly connived with Raghubar Khan in purchasing her from Rekha against a payment of Rs 88,000. Upon reaching here, she said she faced humiliation and harassment and was forced to live like a slave.
