MUKTSAR – A 14-year-old girl, daughter of Assistant Sub-Inspector Charanjit Singh in the Vigilance Bureau here, allegedly committed suicide. Her body was fished out from a canal near Smagh village on Tuesday night.
Jaspreet reportedly left her house on Sunday following an argument with her stepmother Kirandeep Kaur.
In his police complaint, Charanjit alleged that he repeatedly requested his wife to be polite with her daughter. However, her rude behaviour claimed his daughter’s life. The police have registered a case.
