What we won’t do in the hope of finding love!
Sometimes we get so caught up in our lives that when love actually falls into our lap, we’re blind to it. This is more common than we think and our so called technologically advanced world, makes it so. We’re so focused on getting our lives correct or making them better than some other person by judging their social media statuses and profiles that we’ve forgotten how to LOVE and forgotten how to LIVE.
Living and Loving are intertwined, life itself is created from the process of love making. If there was no love, then there would be no life. Our smart-phones and other gadgets that keep us so busy and occupied, we’ve forgotten the entire essence of being in love and feeling that feeling which you get, the Love kind of feeling… It’s like no other from all that I hear and some are lucky enough to have it but unfortunately lack the appreciation for it.
From all the responses that I receive from this column, I feel the underlying problem in most but not all relationships lies in the lack of their communication with each other. People have just forgotten how to love and forgotten to show it. Caring is one thing but showing it a whole different game.
Learn to take a moment and breathe and remove yourself from any disturbances and distractions and just LOVE! Love unconditionally and show it as when we do that, it reciprocates. What we give, we receive! When we receive love, we feel happier and more content, life becomes peaceful as we like it. This helps us perform better and reach our goals faster. It’s not about reaching somewhere and reaching there now but it’s all about getting to a destination feeling content. Contentment will never come from material goods or “things”, it comes from feeling loved and being in LOVE. Love is the solution for all so let’s not make it into a problem by complicating things and simply not appreciating all the LOVE that we have around us. Learn to respect all whom you love and the ones that love you.
I may not be an expert at this either but I learn every single day how important this is! This thing we call LOVE is what makes the world go round and makes our lives more liveable and fulfilled. Some of us may not be so lucky but if you’re one of the lucky ones then you better appreciate it. Love happens only once they say but sadly some of us go without it, never knowing what it feels like is like a curse. So if you love someone and they love you back then take it with your arms wide open without judgements, without societal norms, without any expectations, without any barriers, just feel it and it will be yours.
