PATIALA – Many literary, cultural and scholarly organizations have joined and decided to award Dr. Sawraj Singh, a well-known scholar, with the Global Thinker Award on his birthday, January 5, 2016.
A joint meeting of the representatives of these organizations met in Patiala to make arrangements for the award ceremony which will be held in Hotel Flyover Classic, Patiala. Some of those who attended the meeting were Pran Sabharwal from National Theatre and Arts Society (NTAS); Gopal Sharma, a well-known journalist; Satnam Singh Bedi from Sankalp International; Rakesh Thakur and Dharminder Sandhu from Jyoti Kala Manch; Rakesh Sharma Natakwala represented the drama groups; and Mr. R. Bhasin, a well-known philanthropist highlighted the humanitarian contributions of Dr.Sawraj Singh.
Gurbakshish Singh, President of Vishav Budhjivi Forum (International Scholars Forum) said that Dr. Sawraj Singh has really brought out the essence of Eastern Philosophy at the international level.
