To launch their first location in Richmond, the Winestains Wine Academy held a wine and dine party last week in Richmond. The company opened its first location in Richmond, BC to teach WSET certified classes which began October 2015. The brand new location, is purpose built for classes, wine and food events, and will offer WSET Level 1 & 2 classes this fall with plans for Level 3 as well as Level 1 & 2 in Mandarin by 2016. The Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) was founded in 1969 to provide high quality education and training in wines and spirits. Since then, WSET has grown into the foremost international body in the field of wines and spirits education, with a suite of sought-after qualifications. Winestains Wine Academy will occupy the second floor at #1070 -9111 Beckwith Road, Richmond while Richmond Wine Lockers will occupy the first.
