Gurdwara Dukh Nivaran Sahib Society held a fundraiser in memory of the four Sahibzaada on 27th December 2015 at the Mirage Banquet Hall to benefit the Surrey Food Bank. Kuldip K. Ardawa and Tim Baillie from the Surrey Food Bank were presented with an amazing $22.000.00 cheque by head granthi Narinder Walia and the gurdwara committee members. Bhai Bhupinder Singh, the lead fundraiser event organiser worked tirelessly and selflessly to make this memorial event the huge success it was. It’s people like Bhupinder and Narinder that truly make a difference not only in the lives of many families but in the whole community. Tim Baillie- President and Kuldip K. Ardawa – manager of the Surrey Food Bank presented the Gurdwara Sahib an Appreciation certificate in acknowledgment of everyone’s compassion, generosity and thoughtfulness to help those who are struggling to make ends meet on low-incomes.
