Competition rules the roost in IP Man 3.  Told in Chinese this third in the series is a martial arts spectacle. Enjoy the slugfest at select Cineplex Odeon arenas throughout B.C.

By now fans may have seen the first two outings. For the uninformed IP Man is a respected martial arts practiser with a spoils gold reputation. Respected by all ( except a gang of ruthless cut throats) actor Donnie Yen. All that good nature imbedded in his soul gets put  to the test when his son’s elementary school gets targeted by a ruthless developer ( are there any other kind?)  who wants the coveted land to build condos. Let the games and mayhem begin.

If you appreciate extremely well choreographed fights then IP Man 3 fits the bill. Apart from the requisite fisticuffs the producers have added some other beneficial elements, like a family illness, to further ramp Up the emotion. And as if battling a band of toughs is ‘t tough enough IP Man must also face off against a fellow martial artist who wants the man’s reputation and valued position on the general community. Lean and mean and quite the fighting machine is Wing Chun rival Max Zhang who engages IP Man in a do or die battle royals,

Exciting with nary a dull moment IP Man 3 truly packs quite a punch.
