ABOHAR – At least five persons were killed in different road accidents Tuesday.
Manjit Kaur (35) died on the spot, while her husband Ajaib Singh and nephew Bhajan Singh were injured, when their motorcycle was hit by a car near Doda village.
Charanjit Kaur (37) was killed and her husband Malkiat Chahal sustained injuries as their car overturned on Kular Road here. Malkiat has been admitted to the civil hospital in Sadulshehar. Gokal Chand (45) of Mammukhera village died as a stray cow hit his bike near Katehra.
Sant Lal (32) died as his car was hit by a blue bull near Hanumangarh. Nanu Ram (31) died when his motorcycle reportedly hit a roadside tree on the national highway near Hanumangarh.
