The upcoming film Channo star and producer Neeru Bajwa held her first press conference with her home-town Indo-Canadian media for her first home production at the Dhoom restaurant where she was joined by her distributor Aman Khatkar, also a producer of Punjabi films, and local Punjabi broadcaster-host Tarannum Thind, who is debuting as Assistant Director of Channo. From the look of things, Channo seems like a thriller in the vein of Vidya Balan starter Kahani, where she was also pregnant like Channo but comes to India to find her husband. Channo comes to Canada to find her runaway groom. The LINK asked if Channo is similar to Kahani and producer Bajwa, who recently gave birth to a baby girl, said the two films are not at all same despite both heroines being pregnant and on journeys to find their husbands. We will have to wait and see the film. The film is being distributed by Aman Khatkar Productions!
