AAP Supporters Pack Surrey Hall For Big Meeting

SURREY – Close to 1000 Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supporters gathered at a Surrey banquet hall to talk about their mother land, Punjab.

Event was arranged by the by local AAP volunteers, working from the past three years and was supported by Main Punjab Bolda haan.

Aam Aadmi Party is a populous people’s party led by the high ideals of Arvind Kejriwal, who won a sweeping victory of 67 out of 70 seats in Delhi state elections, defeating the BJP and becoming the Chief Minister.

Newly-minted AAP leader Sukhpal S. Khaira made a presence at the meeting through Skype. He answered tough questions through a video call during this public gathering on many issues such as drugs, law and order, agriculture and transport mafia. He also thanked attendees who are working for the welfare of Punjab.

Most political functions are rather known for their serious and somewhat a dry tone. However this function had additional flavor to it that captured the hearts of the audiance. Creative theater was used to show direct relevance of politics with the life of a common man. While keeping all the essentials of a political program in focus, layer of social relevance was highlighted through a theatrical presentations by the dedicate team of Gurdeep Arts Academy.

At the end of the event even those local speakers were allowed to speak on the stage who might not fully agree with all the party proceedings but still deeply believe that this is the only party that will stand on its principle of anti corruption. They believe that only AAP can help Punjab to recover from its current devastated social, economical as well as political state.

The momentum of this first event of the year was overwhelming for the well wishers of the party. The organizers extend their deep gratitude to all attendees and request them to stay involve to bring about clean government for the people of Punjab
