Dark times fall on The Queen’s noble city in London has Fallen. Action galore tracks the world’s foremost leaders in this snappy VVS Films release now exploding on Cineplex Odeon theatres still left standing around B.C.

All it takes us one madman/woman to ruin your day.  Ace secret service agent Mike Banning has more than his work cut out during a routine state visit calling him to safeguard the U.S. President on British soil. Back for more bravado is Gerald Butler (300) who is tailor made for this role. President Benjamin Asher is front and centre when a not so merry London gets pounded with the biggest bombings since the World War 2 Blitz. Running for cover and dodging bullets by the bucket is Aaron Eckhard who seems no worse for wear.

Tense, flamboyant and fun to watch London Has Fallen is a slick and pleasing follow-up to sleeper hit Olympus Has Fallen from a few to years back. Plausible and effective this non-stop thriller is a bit far-fetched but totally engaging with a villain perfectly suited for these troubled times. Sorry all you politically correct bleeding hearts. Welcome to the real world.
