Surrey-based singer Jugpreet Bajwa is stealing hearts in India, including Bollywood Superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s heart with his mesmerizing and soulful voice. Bajwa was recently featured on the Grand Premiere of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa on Zee TV and has now made it past the initial round and into the round of 12 finalists. “Feeling so honoured to have gotten a standing ovation from the respected judges and jury today on Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, India’s biggest competition equivalent to American Idol,” Bajwa, who is legally blind, wrote on his facebook page. “Thank you all for the love and support. It has been nothing short of amazing the several messages that I’ve been getting. I hope people will enjoy the episodes back home.”
