SOLAN – More than three weeks after the broad daylight murder of a gangster-turned politician Jaswinder Singh alias Rocky near Parwanoo, the police arrested three youths from Patiala last evening for their reported involvement in the crime.
The trio was produced before a Kasauli court today which remanded them to police custody till April 30, confirmed a police official.
He informed that exhaustive data comprising call details of people present on the site of the killing was being assessed to track the culprits.
Other issues like the involvement of the security staff was also being verified as no retaliatory fire had been opened after Rocky was fired upon.
Officials said various issues pertaining to the murder were being investigated and they were hopeful of cracking the murder mystery soon.
The arrest of the three people has come as a relief to the police who were groping in the dark with hardly any clues about the real culprits.
