PATIALA – Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convener Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday met religious preacher Ranjit Singh Dhadrianwale following the recent attack on him in Ludhiana district.
Kejriwal arrived at the Parmeshwar Dwar gurdwara on the Patiala-Sangrur highway here around 11.15 am and held a closed-door meeting with Dhadrianwale for half an hour.
However, he left the gurdwara immediately following the meeting and did not interact with media. There was heavy security at the gurdwara and AAP supporters were not allowed to enter the premises.
Meanwhile, Patiala MP Dharamvira Gandhi took a dig at Kejriwal over the visit.
“AAP has also started doing traditional politics and visiting Dera for political support,” he said.
