Indo-Canadian From Regina Facing Second-Degree Murder In Wife’s Death

Jagdish Singh Tehara  was arrested and charged with second-degree murder of his wife Sandeep Kaur Tehara, of Regina. Police were called to a home in the 200 block of Upland Drive around 4:23 a.m. on Sunday to check on the welfare of the occupants. When they arrived, they found the victim’s body.

REGINA – Police have now laid charges against an Indo-Canadian man from Regina man in the death of his wife on Sunday.

The victim has been identified as Sandeep Kaur Tehara, 38, of Regina.

Police were called to a home in the 200 block of Upland Drive around 4:23 a.m. on Sunday to check on the welfare of the occupants. When they arrived, they found the victim’s body.

After some investigation, the victim’s husband Jagdish Singh Tehara, 39, was arrested and charged with second-degree murder.

Tehara made his first court appearance on Tuesday morning.

The case has been adjourned until May 31.
