Hundreds of people joined President Ashok Bhargava and PRO MahendraKwatra of Writers International Network (WIN) of Canada at Burnaby Fraser Foreshore Park during a picnic organized by the Hindu Temple of Burnaby to honor Mr. Chandra Bodalia with the title of a “WIN Prolific Photographer”.
He was awarded a WIN medallion and a Certificate of Appreciation by the office of Mable Elmer, Vancouver Kensington MLA. Mrs. Vanita Puri, who is current President of India Club and Hindu Mandir, presented a WIN photograph to Mr. Bodalia and wished him good luck on behalf of everybody present.
Chandra has dedicated his life to selfless service to the Indo-Canadian community through freelance photography. He has a very pleasant personality and can be found smiling and clicking photographs at most of the events happening in the Lower Mainland.
Chandra has consistently shown commitment, passion, energy, creativity, and above all reliability to serve and to photographically document all significant events of Indo-Canadian community. These qualities make him a truly great Prolific Photographer. He has enriched our community with faith in selfless service and humility.
WIN promotes peace and harmony with one another to celebrate the beautiful diversity of poets, writers, artists, dancers and photographers through award and recognition.
