The tragedy in a Quebec Mosque on January 29 has caused a lot of concern to Canadians everywhere. At this time, our Muslim brothers and sisters need a lot of support and solidarity. With this in mind, the management committee of India Cultural Centre of Canada Gurdwara Nanak Niwas on Richmond’s Highway to Heaven invited leaders of the BC Muslim Association and Jamea Mosque in Richmond to the Gurdwara on Sunday, February 5 to offer support in this hour of need. The Muslim community leaders were very appreciative of this gesture and thanked members of the Gurdwara management committee for their on-going support. It was mutually agreed to continue to work together in fighting the curse of racism ,prejudice and hatred in our communities .
