ESL Book Clubs at Surrey Libraries

“The ESL Book Clubs help us improve our English, learn about Canada, and make new friends from all over the world,” say participants of Surrey Libraries’ ESL book clubs. Book clubs are free, fun, and friendly. If you would like to practice your English and make new friends, join Surrey Libraries’ ESL Book Clubs. Come practice reading, speaking, and listening in English. Readers are welcome at any level from beginners to advanced.  Library books will be provided (Levels 1-4). Call or visit the libraries to register.

Poetry Evening!

This month Poetry Evening will feature two well-known and popular authors Parvez Kaur Sandhu and Harkirat Kaur Chahal. They will share their creative process and poetry with the audience. All are welcome to this free event.

Intermediate English Conversation

Tuesdays, April 4 – May 30, 1 pm – 3 pm (except May 2)

Intermediate English training for newcomers who want to improve their accent reduction, practice conversation skills and gain confidence with speaking in public. Held in partnership with the Progressive Intercultural Community Services Society (PICS) with funding from the Delta Literacy Committee.
