The annual Nagar Kirtan procession in Abbotsford brought out Sikhs from across the Lower Mainland, who joined in the celebrations on Sunday in west Abbotsford.
The parade brought thousands into the streets to view martial arts demonstrations, the Sikh Motorcycle Club contingent and floats. The singing of traditional hymns and the viewing of the holy scriptures highlighted the event. The procession is organized by Gurdwara Sahib Kalgidhar Darbar, located on Blueridge Drive.
