Canadian Eyesight Global Free Eye health Clinic Fair, held on Sunday September 17 at the Dashmesh Darbar, Gurudwara Sahib, Surrey and supported by Rotary Club of Surrey-Guildford and Rotary Club of Burnaby, was a resounding success. Patients waited patiently till 5:00pm. A dedicated team of Dr. David Neima, MD, FRCS(C). Opthal, V.P. Overseas Programs, Canadian Eyesight Global, Dr.Alicia Ramirez, OD, and Dr. Warren Whitford, along with dedicated volunteers, Rtn. Satwant Ginder (Sangha), Director CEG, Rtn. Kulwant Sekhon, members of Rotary Club of Burnaby and volunteers; Gurmel Dhaliwal, Amarjit Sidhu, Vicky Thind, Neena Sohal, Saroop K. Jubbal, Kim Chauhan and others participated. Special thanks to the administration of Dashmesh Darbar Gurudwara for their full cooperation and support and all volunteers. Needy people were provided free eye drops, and people with major eye problems were referred to the specialist eye surgeons and eye doctors for further investigation and treatment.This unique program was started by Canadian Eyesight Global since 2003 and is going very strongly and very successfully since 2003.
