Run For Canada

The “Run for Canada” series of runs have been operating in Canada since 2004 in an effort to benefit community organizations. The inaugural Run for Delta will be on October 29, 2017 and benefit local charities: the Delta Hospital and Surrey Food Bank (serving North Delta specifically).

As the community grows, so do the needs of essential services. The Delta Hospital is going through an expansion and Surrey Food Bank serves an ever increasing population.

In fact, 100% of the proceeds from this run will go to these organizations and we invite you to participate to make this event a success.

The event is supported by the Corporation of Delta, the Delta Police and Delta School Board. The Mayor of Delta, Hon. Lois Jackson, who will be attending the event,  commented, “I encourage all residents of Delta to come out and join this fun-filled event and wish the organizers, volunteers and participants much success.”

Participants may take part in walking/jogging/running a 1 or 5k route. Further details are at www.runfordelta.com. Local businesses interested in sponsorship or marketing opportunities, are asked to reach out to [email protected] or call 778.988.1842.

Register today and enjoy the complimentary breakfast and $5 lunch.
