Watch with awe as a youngster on a mission goes on a crusade to make his mark in Coco. Stunning visually and with a heartfelt message this dynamic animated adventure from Pixar Studios will again show you how much fun going to the movies can be. Perfect holiday fare comes early thanks to this Disney release now spell-binding audiences at Cineplex Entertainment halls across B.C.

Lots of innovation has gone into this charmer. First our story is below the border. Sorry President Trump. No wall is needed in this film. Instead the barrier facing lead character/ would-be singer Miguel is his family. All this boy wants to do is sing. Ah, but music is verboten in this close-knit family presided over by a grandma from hell. Oops that word hell is not appropriate for family audiences. Let’s just say this granny is a meanie and everything in view is Coco is perfectly fine for children.

Not I take no for an answer our Miguel with his friendly canine go on an unbelievable adventure that takes him to the land of the temporary dead where an encounter with his celebrity singling uncle ushers in a dawn of a new age.  Full of catchy songs, sensational animation, high energy dance numbers, lavish locations and sets and a few well-placed well meaning messages make Coco a blast to behold.

Whether you see this film in 3-D where the effects are surprisingly good or on a normal Screen you will go away with a new found respect for Mexican culture and just a great happy feeling. Like a breath of fresh air Coco will draw you in and warm your hearts. Imagination at its best has arrived in this new-found Classic. And if Disney is smart they should immediately embark on the further adventures of Miguel and friends. Clearly the talented crew and filmmakers here have earned a second go around.
