Dear Editor:

Mudslinging is nothing new during elections. A few politician take high road but problem creators are usually in the background who wish to be recognized by their leaders. They are the one who seek lust, full of greed opportunists, trouble makers.

A majority of people have short memories, seek short term  but not long term solutions. Most people during elections stay home as they feel they have nothing to gain or loose. Unfortunately, they are sadly mistaken. They always pay the hidden price despite a few people become millionaires on their expense.

A few selective people have gained and become rich and powerful in the past few decades. They are now again players in the front lines. Many people are aware of them.

I want to ask people to vote for experienced, young and energetic leader. Ethnic people are underrepresented at the municipal level. Make sure a few remain in the leadership and some new faces, especially who will really listen and represent the ordinary folks, are elected. We are all paying taxes and contribute as Canadians. Exercise you right to vote independently .
