MISSISSAUGA – Pillsbury, a key brand of General MillsCanada Corporation, has launched an online South Asian recipe contest called ‘Pillsbury Kitchen KeKalakar’ in Canada on the 12 of September.

This initiative will help reconnect the brand with the South Asian Canadianmarket and create a fantastic opportunity for them to share somedelicious, innovative and inspiring South Asian recipes using Pillsbury products” said Paul Cuaso, Marketing Manager for Ethnic Marketing at General Mills.
The contest will be online and will be a great opportunity for all South
Asian Canadians who have a flair for cooking to show off their culinary
skills.
To participate, one simply needs to visit the Pillsbury Kitchen KeKalakar
contest website, upload a South Asian inspired recipe using at least
one Pillsbury product, along with a photograph of the dish and steps on how the dish was made.
The Pillsbury Kitchen KeKalakar contest will run for 10 weeks and weekly winners will beannounced on the contest website. At the end of the 10 weeks, all weeklywinners will compete in the Grand Pillsbury Kitchen KeKalakar Cook-Off hosted at the General MillsCanada Kitchen in Mississauga, Ontario for a cash prize of $1,000 and assorted Pillsbury Products. The winner will also earn the title of 2016Pillsbury Kitchen KeKalakar and may appear in official PillsburyCanada promotional/advertising materials.
