The 18th Annual International Yudh Gatka Sikh Martial Arts Tournament is set to take place on Saturday, August 24th, 2024, at Guru Nanak Sikh Gurdwara.
The Tournament is known for promising an exhilarating showcase of skill, honor, and tradition. Established in 2003, this prestigious tournament is the oldest of its kind in the world and has become a cornerstone of the global Gatka communityThe event attracts Gatka practitioners from across the globe, celebrating the rich heritage of Sikh martial arts.

The tournament will feature a series of highly competitive events, highlighting the strategic and artistic elements of Gatka. With competitors coming from diverse regions such as California, New York, Toronto, the UK, and Punjab, attendees can expect a global celebration of martial excellence.

Farhi Soti (Stick & Shield) Competition:
Singhs & Kaurs (Age 18-30):

1st Place: $1,100 + antique shastar
2nd Place: $800 + antique shastar
3rd Place: $600 + antique shastar
This event showcases the dynamic and powerful techniques of stick and shield combat, reflecting the traditional training of Gatka warriors.
Single Kirpan Competition:
Singhs & Kaurs (Age 18-30):

1st Place: $600 + antique shastar
2nd Place: $400 + antique shastar
Participants demonstrate precision and skill with the Kirpan, an emblematic weapon of Sikh heritage.
Chakar/Jaal (Net) Competition:
Singhs & Kaurs (Age 15-17):

1st Place: $500 + antique shastar
2nd Place: $300 + antique shastar
The Chakar/Jaal competition highlights the agility and technique required in net combat, offering a glimpse into the versatility of Gatka practice.
Food:

Vendor Stalls:
