AAP Says While Punjab In dire Dtraits, Fat-Cat Badals Load Up On Personal Wealth

CHANDIGARH – Even as the state government claimed in a statement today that the state finances were sound, the Aam Aadmi Party said the present Badal government has lead the state towards bankruptcy and the situation has gone from bad to worst in the last 10 years.

In a statement, party’s national organisation head Durgesh Pathak and state convener Sucha Singh Chhotepur said while the wealth of the Badal family had increased manifold in the previous years, small-scale businesses in the state had been forced to shut down.

“A huge number of business units have shifted their base to other states because of interference of the Badals,” they said, adding the government did not have enough funds to run its daily affairs and the salaries of its had been stalled for many months.
