The $100 million Sikh-fronted Akal University campus in Damdamma Sahib in Punjab is ready to seek admissions of student in July 2015 after it was approved by the State government. Further construction and fundraising efforts are ongoing for continued additions to state of the art education facility which will eventually house Cancer Research Centre and Guru Grant Sahib Religious Centre – where artifacts from all faiths will be housed for a Comparative Religious course.
