It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of one of Queensborough’s most respected pioneers.
Predeceased by her late husband Ray Resham Basran. Survived by children Don (Sarb), Ron (Lucky), Terry (Paul), Paul (Dora), Jivan (Cheyral), 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Her life’s legacy and her deep involvement within the Sikh community and countless hours of seva will never be forgotten.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, Sept 4 at 3 p.m. at Five Rivers Funeral Home at 7410 Hopcott Road, Delta, with prayers to follow at the India Cultural Centre Gurdwara Nanak Niwas at 8600 No. 5 Road, Richmond.
