LINK editor and renowned local filmmaker R. Paul Dhillon is in Mumbai attending the prestigious FICCI Frames film conference, which he describes as a great experience where he’s met the who’s who of the Bollywood and international film business. “The last week has been crazy busy with sessions, luncheons, parties and meetings galore,” Dhillon told the LINK. “With the adjoining Content Market, you can meet content buyers and sellers from all over the world. I met so many Indian film and international film heavyweights and even got a veteran US Sales Agent for The Fusion Generation and our other productions from the growing MMM Films Library. It’s been a fantastic experience and very fruitful indeed.
” He said he hopes to keep coming to Mumbai for this conference as we ramp up production on our current slate of projects which includes MMM Films’ crime genre Gangster film B Town Boyz. “More big things to come and the highlight and something that personally gave goosebumps was a visit to legendary Bollywood filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani’s office where one is greeted by the poster of his iconic film PK,” Dhillon said “The Head of his company told me that RH’s next film is a return to Munnabhai MBBS series with Sanjay Dutt returning as the iconic character. Incidentally, RH just finished production on Sanjay’s Bio-Pic starring Ranbir Kapoor as the ultimate Bollywood Badboy! The film releases in June!”
