Healthy Aging – Learn How To Age Well

Vancouver Coastal Health and Richmond Public Library will offer a six-part series of programs to help you learn how your body changes and what you can do to ensure a better quality of life as you age. The programs take place on Mondays starting March 31 from 7 – 9 pm at the Brighouse (Main) Branch, Community Place room, 7700 Minoru Gate. Low Back Pain, Healthy Legs & Managing Skills

Vedic Seniors Parivar Centre of Vedic Hindu Cultural Society Surrey invites South Asian Adults/ Senior members and non members to attend a presentation, which was requested by many members  to invite Amit Kumar again  to speak on Low Back Pain, Healthy Legs & Managing Skills, ( Amit Kumar Consultant Occupational Therapist) on May 4th 2014 from 2.00 pm to 3.30 pm at Shanti Niketan Hall of Lakshmi Narayan Hindu Temple 8321 – 140th Street Surrey BC. Delta Writers’ Reading Series

The popular Delta Writers’ Reading Series returns to the George Mackie Library, 8440 – 112 Street, Delta on Wednesday, April 30, from 7 – 8:30 pm.  Everyone is invited to an evening of readings featuring the works of emerging and published Fraser Valley authors, literary fun and prizes.  Participate in the open mike portion of the evening or sit back and have a cup of coffee or tea and some goodies while you listen to poems, short stories, novel excerpts and more.
