Khaira categorically denied the reports, adding that “there is nothing like this. I will let you know if there is anything like this”. Sources said the move would help the Chief Minister reestablish the narrative that the party under his leadership at this juncture was in a comfortable position as rebels were joining the party.
A senior PPCC leader said the issue had been discussed at the party level but there was no confirmation on Khaira joining it.
